About the Artist

My name is Ivanna Samokish and art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been creating since my teenage years, always drawn to abstract expression for its emotional depth and freedom. Working with epoxy resin and acrylics allows me to translate feeling into movement and color.

Art is truly in my blood—my great-grandfather, Dymtro Potoroka (1897–1962), was a well-known oil painter whose work is still exhibited today. Creating is a therapeutic, grounding experience for me, and I especially love making personal pieces for others. Seeing the joy and connection a finished piece brings is what inspires me most.
